Success at Tristate Speedway J&J Hendrick Motorsports Team headed out Saturday morning to Haubstadt, Indiana. They took both midget and the micro. Jonathan only made the feature in the micro. He ran strong in the midget b-main. Jonathan's goal was to make both features. Jonathan started 5th in the micro feature. On the second to last lap, Jonathan took the lead from Derek King. Jonathan lead the remaining two laps, and took the win at Tri-state Speedway. He did not succeed in accomplishing his goal. Thanks allot to the crew and crew chief's Troy Hollingsworth and Bill Bowey. Tri-city Speedway. The team found themselves in Pontoon Beach, IL. He would be running the midget on the newly re-done 3/8's mile track. The world of outlaws were there to. Jonathan went out for hot laps and came back in and was ready to go for the heat. He started 5th and went to the front and ended up winning the heat. Jonathan was 2nd in points and would start 5th in the feature. The time was there he was out on the track for the feature. Starting next to Josh Wise, the car was no good and he slowly slipped back to 10th. He was battling to stay in the top ten. The high side was coming in and cars were lining up at the top and he remained at the bottom of the track and was going faster then most cars on top. The race came to an end and he was still in 10th place. Thanks allot to Bill Bowey for all his help. |
